Prepare For Freezing Temps

Winter Weather Alert! ❄️
Hey friends! With freezing temperatures heading our way this weekend, I wanted to share some simple steps to protect your home (because a little prevention now can save you from big headaches later!):
🚰 Let those faucets drip! A small trickle of water can prevent frozen pipes – a little water bill is better than burst pipes.
🧣 Wrap up exposed pipes- Think of it like giving your plumbing a winter coat! Insulate pipes in crawl spaces, attics, and garages.
🔥 Using space heaters or fireplaces? Make sure they’re working safely and test those carbon monoxide detectors.
💡 Gather your storm supplies- Flashlights, batteries, blankets, and some non-perishable snacks just in case the power decides to take a break.
🏠 Vacant property? Keep that thermostat at 65° minimum to protect your investment.
☕ And don’t forget- Stay warm, check on your neighbors, and maybe make some hot cocoa!
Stay safe out there, Fayetteville! If you have any questions about protecting your home or need local recommendations for winterization services, I’m always here to help.
